Weekend in Kraków region

Day 1st 

Your arrival to Cracow, transfer from the airport or the train station. Depending on your arrival time, a short walk through the Old Town and welcoming dinner in a local restaurant on request, first overnight stay at a hotel during your Poland tour.

Day 2nd

Basilica in PolandBreakfast, then a guided tour of Cracow: the Main Market Square with St. Mary’s Basilica and historical trade pavilions of the Cloth Hall. Next a walk through the Royal Route and  Collegium Maius to Wawel Hill with the Royal Castle and Cathedral. For those interested in Jewish history available an additional walk round the Old Jewish quarter – Kazimierz will be available.  Dinner in a regional restaurant with live folk music in Kazimierz, an overnight stay at a hotel.

Day 3rd

Breakfast, then a transfer to Wieliczka  for a visit at the famous Royal Salt Mine with its numerous underground chambers, chapels and salt sculptures. Afternoon time for personal arrangements or an optional visit in the Tyniec abbey – famous for its long history and natural medicine specifics, which may be purchased in the abbey shop. An overnight stay at your hotel.

Day 4th  (optional extension)

Breakfast, two possible tour options: Auschwitz – the largest Nazi German extermination camp from  II World War,  or a visit in Czestochowa – Jasna Góra monastery, famous for the Black Madonna icon. Departure in the afternoon or evening or next part of your Poland travel, like Weekend in Gdansk tour.
