Day 1st

Your arrival to Warsaw,  where you are welcomed by our local guide. Transfer to the hotel. In the afternoon you will start the city tour of Warsaw. The capital of Poland was totally destructed in WW II and then rebuilt. You will visit the Old Town, Lazienki Park with Frederic Chopin monument and Palace on the Water, Warsaw Uprising Monument and Royal Castle. A welcome dinner in our hotel in the evening.

Day 2nd

After an early morning breakfast, you start your tour to Gdansk, the capital of Poland’s seaside. On the way there you will stop in Malbork to see the medieval fortress of Teutonic Knights – the greatest castle in Poland.  Then we continue the drive to Gdansk. Check-in at a local hotel in the evening. Dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3rd

warsaw-3After breakfast the sightseeing tour of the maritime center of Poland begins: historical port town of Gdansk, birthplace and home of Solidarity; Cathedral, Neptune’s Monument, Zuraw Gdanski, the harbor, the monument at Westerplatte. Then you will see Sopot, the health resort with the longest pier in Europe. In the Gothic Cathedral in Oliwa you can listen to a concert on a magnificent baroque pipe organ. Dinner and an overnight stay in the hotel in Gdansk.

Day 4th

After breakfast, you drive to Torun – one of the most beautiful cities of Poland, picturesquely located on the both banks of the Vistula River. After check-in at a local hotel, you will visit the beautiful Old Town and Museum of the famous Polish astronomer – Nicolas Copernicus. Free evening. An overnight stay in Torun.

Day 5th

After breakfast, we drive to Poznan with a visit to Gniezno – a historic capital of Poland. A guided city walk, then the departure to Poznan for a dinner and an overnight stay at a hotel.

Day 6th

A morning tour around the city of Poznan. Among many famous places, you will see: the impressive Town Hall and the oldest country’s cathedral Sopot wooden piercontaining tombs of the first Polish rulers. In the afternoon, you will start a trip to Czestochowa. You can attend an evening mass at the Jasna Gora Monastery in Czestochowa. Dinner and an overnight stay in a hotel in the city.

Day 7th 

Morning visit to the famous Black Lady – Queen of Poland Sanctuary. The Pauline Fathers will introduce you to the Jasna Góra Monastery, its history (which dates back to 1292), treasures and the miraculous icon of Black Madonna, the Queen of Poland. Next, you will leave Czestochowa and start your drive to Zakopane. On your way, you will stop in Wadowice – John Paul II hometown. Arrival to Zakopane in the evening. Accommodation in your hotel. Dinner and an overnight stay.X

Day 8th

Morning city tour of Poland’s „winter capital” including Chocholow Village. Cable car ride up to Gubałówka hill, where you will see the panoramic view of the area. An afternoon excursion to Koscieliska Valley will complete our tour. Dinner in the regional restaurant and your overnight stay in Zakopane.

Day 9th

After breakfast, you will drive to the Pieniny National Park for Dunajec River safe rafting – one of the worth to see Poland highlights. You will be able to enjoy the view of two beautiful castles of Niedzica and Czorsztyn, before you enter the deep gorge surrounded by white limestone peaks. In the evening, some free time to visit Krupowki and enjoy the beauty of the town. Dinner and an overnight stay in Zakopane.mazury lake

Day 10th

You leave Zakopane in the morning to visit the Wieliczka Salt Mine. The 800-years old Wieliczka Salt Mine is the oldest salt mine in Europe, famous for splendid St.Kinga’s Chapel with salt sculptures and relicts, corridors housing the original constructions and the subterranean salt lakes. After the tour, you will continue the drive to Krakow, with a possible stopover in Lagiewniki, where you can visit Lagiewniki Cathedral – Sister Faustyna’s Sanctuary of Divine Mercy. Arrival to in Krakow in the evening for dinner and an overnight stay in the city.

Day 11th

After breakfast you will begin your tour of Krakow, a treasure house of architecture and art since X century. Your walking tour will start on the Wawel Hill with the Royal Castle and Coronation Cathedral, burial place of kings and famous Poles. This tour includes also the Old Town surrounded by defense walls, with Barbican and Market Square dominated by St. Mary’s Church with the famous XV c. linden wood altar.  The additional point of your visit may be the Jagiellonian University, one of the oldest in Europe. Dinner and an overnight stay in your hotel in Krakow.

Day 12th

After breakfast you depart for trip to Auschwitz – German Nazi concentration camp and now a martyrdom museum. After this tour, you will go back to Krakow to spend the free afternoon in this beautiful old city. In the evening, you will have a farewell dinner in our hotel.

Day 13th

You leave your hotel after breakfast and are driven to the airport for return flight.
